All work completed by Williams Electrical is carried out in accordance with the latest BS7671:2018 standard, and compliant with IET 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.

Labour Guarantee (12 Months)

This guarantee applies only to work completed and/or materials supplied by Williams Electrical.

During the Guarantee Period, Williams Electrical will repair or replace, at no Labour charge, products or parts that prove defective under normal use and maintenance.

This warranty does not cover any problem that was caused by:

  • Damage, unauthorised alterations, improper or insufficient maintenance, or improper operation.
  • Faults caused by external factors such as power surges or natural disasters.
  • Third-party materials or components not supplied by Williams Electrical.

Williams Electrical shall not be held liable for any faults, defects, or failures in the installation where other electricians or third parties have carried out work.

Should any Third-party materials prove defective, a rate of £35/ph will be charged to the client for installation and to rectify any issues.

This guarantee/warranty is held only by the individual(s) requesting the work. For example, if the property is sold, the guarantee does not transfer over to the new owner(s).

Clients also receive warranty of parts, supplied by Williams Electrical, inline with manufacturers T&Cs and period of guarantee, in the event that an issue should arise.

Quotation Price Guarantee

The amount you are quoted is the amount you will be invoiced.

Quotations are valid until the expiration date stated (if no date is stated, 30 days from date of issue). If expired, the quotation may need to be revised due to unforeseen changes in pricing of parts and materials.

Quotations/Estimations are based on information provided by the client. If you require any additions/alterations, (either before or once work has commenced) the quotation can be amended with additional charges specified.

Estimations

Estimations are subject to fluctuations in price according to unexpected factors which may occur after work has commenced. In this instance, clients will be asked if they would like work to continue.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 7 days of invoice issuance unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur an interest charge of 20% per month.

Payments will be invoiced in staged payments. Each invoice shall reflect the hours worked to date and is payable as per the agreed terms.

For projects exceeding £1000, a deposit of 20% is required before work commences.
